Uprise Health Appoints Peter Strimaitis as Chief Executive Officer

IRVINE, Calif., January 13, 2022 – Uprise Health, a national leader in digital behavioral therapy and chronic condition management, announces the company has appointed Peter Strimaitis as Chief Operating Officer. Strimaitis brings more than 30 years of experience in operations management, leading global teams across diagnostic imaging, healthcare IT, life sciences, and consumer goods industries. This addition to the leadership team will support Uprise Health’s status as a leading digital mental health company that cares for the whole person.

Prior to joining Uprise Health, Strimaitis served as the Chief Operating Officer for Alpha Source Group, a healthcare technology services company. In that role, he led company-wide operations, service & support, supply chain, facilities, sales, and parts distribution businesses for the company, in addition to heading up the medical optics division.  From 2014-2019, Strimaitis served as Vice President & General Manager of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s North America and LATAM Service, Support, and Sales organizations for five years, where he was instrumental in driving revenue growth, EBITDA, strategic planning, and M&A due diligence and integration operations. Preceding his time with Thermo Fisher, Strimaitis built a successful, 17-year career with GE Healthcare in a variety of executive operating and commercial roles, including Vice President & General Manager of the $600M GE Healthcare IT Service and Support division.
