A Research Report from Uprise Health
The “Great Resignation” is happening across the U.S. for many reasons, with ongoing mental health struggles near the top of the list. Many employees feel overworked, underpaid, and have heightened feelings of stress and anxiety. They are considering switching their career, job, or leaving the workforce.
Uprise Health commissioned a survey of 1,100+ people, all U.S.-based and employed full-time, via a third-party research group, to provide employers a window into how employees are coping at this pivotal moment as well as guidance on how employers can expand their mental health and wellbeing offerings to meet employees’ shifting needs and preferences.
Unless employers find ways to expand access to mental health and wellbeing support, the trend of losing employees may altogether continue. Employers can benefit from learning more about how their employees are feeling and what employees want and need to succeed.
Key survey findings include:
- How women are faring when it comes to workload and frustration with colleagues
- How Generation Z is impacted by pandemic-related stress
- How employee needs are going unaddressed when it comes to benefits
- What employees want and need to improve their mental health
