In partnership with Medibank, Uprise has been running a research trial to test the effectiveness of our program with university students across 10 different universities in Australia.

During the study, most students used one coaching call alongside digital training on the Uprise app. This version of Uprise produced amazing results that were sustained up to 3 months. It is equivalent to outcomes from 6 to 8 sessions of face to face therapy.

“Digital platforms are worth investigating because they are cost effective; and they also provide an alternative pathway to receiving mental healthcare solutions. This is especially important for those who may not be inclined to seek help face-to-face,” says Dr. Michelle Lim, the lead researcher at Swinburne University.

Following completion, participants used less avoidance, rumination and worry and reported less severe symptoms of social anxiety and loneliness. They also reported improved wellbeing, quality of life and decreased negative affect.

Here is what some of the students had to say about the program:

“I can notice a difference in the way I feel and act every day”

“Addressing certain issues is a bit difficult…once it was done, I felt a weight off my shoulders.”

“When you’re feeling alone or when you feel like nothing is happening your way, those videos are like someone close giving me advice on what can be done.”

The Uprise training was initially designed for employees in the workplace. If you would like to learn more about offering this life-changing program to your employees, book a demo with us today.
